Gayforum was launched in 1999 and started out as an extension of the, at that time very popular, prikbord.nl boards. In 2002 we have switched the software to PHPBB and stayed with it till date. In 2006 we added a picture post section which currently contains over 10.000 images uploaded by users. The site is attracting many visitors but as with all niche fora, posts are not as volumneous as we would like to see. Nevertheless, the site has prooven it’s use for marketing purposes and general information.
